Believe God will do it through you
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him," Read Hebrews 11:6.
“I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me," Philippians 4:13.
Dear mighty one,
Sometimes, though we believe that God can do marvelous things, we have a hard time trusting that He will do those things through us. Our consciousness of sin, failure, and weakness cause doubts to rise within us. These fears and doubts can only be erased through intimacy with Him. The difficult thing is that these are the same thoughts and feelings that most often keep us from believing that we can enter the Father's presence. The mind focused on failure and shortcoming generates feelings of unworthiness, and disapproval. No one wants to run to their father when they feel as if he is waiting to punish them for their failure to live up to his expectations.
The devil uses this vicious circle of lies to rob us of relationship with God, and the fulfillment that comes with knowing that we have purpose in our lives. When we doubt that God can use us we doubt His love for us and we doubt His power. He desires for us to come to Him. He desires for us to know Him. He desires for us to feel good about who we are. He desires to give us purpose by doing His works through us.
How does this happen in our lives? We must believe. We must trust that He will reward us if we will seek Him diligently. We must trust that we can do all things through Christ. It is good if we recognize that our faith cannot be in our own abilities. Fear of doing things apart from the Spirit of God is the first step toward wisdom. We must however, come full circle to realize and believe that God can accomplish anything through us that He has called us to do.
Until God graces me to share again,
