I have decide to trust Jesus

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths," Proverbs 3:5-6.

To the committed,

You can only know Jesus if you have made a decision to follow Him wherever He may lead. You can only trust Him if you know Him. Faith is not a matter of trying to psyche yourself up to believe what the Bible says. Faith is a byproduct of the heart. It is the result of relationship. It is a decision based upon years, months, days, and moments of precious experience gained by following Him. It is indeed a choice.

Relationship gives us the ability to believe the best of the one that we love. In fact, the more our attention is keenly focused on the faithful character of God, the more “strange voices” are drown out (John 10:5). Our passionate pursuit of God becomes an enemy that destroys the proposal of foreign lovers. We jealously yearn to know Christ more. The understanding we once relied so heavily upon becomes suspect. There is only one voice that matters now. It is the only voice that leads to life.

Until God graces me to share again,
