"... Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it,” Habakkuk 2:2.
To the one who sees what God sees,
Vision is a precious thing. God gives very practical commands in His Word in regard to its stewardship.
Write the vision down. God will show you things to add to this written vision over the course of time. He may not give you all of the parts of the vision in sequential order. Writing the vision down will help you to keep it organized as it comes. Your notes will also help you in times of pressure and doubt. Leaving written "trails" will also allow others to work with you more easily.
Make it plain. Train yourself to not focus on what God has not said, but rather on what you are sure you heard Him say. In other words, don't add your "good" ideas to God’s instructions. The tendency of the flesh is to take the puzzle pieces that you are handed and to try to make them fit together. There may be major connecting pieces that are still missing. Keep it simple and don’t be afraid simply to wait when your next step seems unclear. Remember, "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it," Psalm 127:1.
Others will read your vision and be part of it. Vision is not built independently. Your vision will be entwined with others in the Body of Christ.
Your vision may not come when you think it will. Roots go down under the soil long before the tree is ever evidenced above the earth.
The vision will speak for itself. "...Wisdom is justified by her children." Matt. 11:19 It is not our job to prove that God spoke to us. If we are truly "pregnant" it will show.
Let the "baby" develop. Be patient. Wait on God step by step. Be obedient no matter what the cost. His ways seldom make sense to our natural minds.
