Becoming an environment for vision

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him,” Hebrews 11:6.

Dear faithful one,

Is God attracted by you? It's a given that He loves you. He loves everybody. Are you attractive to Him? Does He like coming to you? Are you really the kind of person with whom He enjoys spending time?

Ask yourself two questions:

Do you pant for Him as the deer pants after water. Do you need Him as you need oxygen or are you cold, indifferent, insensitive, distracted and uncaring. Ask yourself if you would run to someone who had your level of passion.

The second question is this...

Do you believe in Him. Do you stand up for Him, even when others desecrate His name? Is His character alone enough on which to stand? Do you believe that all that He says is true? Do you stand on His last Word to you even when all circumstance seems to say that He has let you down? Are you loyal, only to Him, shunning every other love in order to know Him deeply and fully?

If you could not say yes to these questions, it's not too late to start. He desires you. He will wash you with the water of His Word (Eph. 5:26). He will make you a pure, holy, and chaste bride. He detests outward service, that is detached from the sincerity of a pure and passionate heart. Let Him transform you into the desire of His heart. Be a companion, friend, and faithful lover to Him... the one that He wants by His side in all that He does.
