Giving birth to God's dreams

“[The Kingdom of God] is like a mustard seed which, when it is sown on the ground, is smaller than all the seeds on the earth,” Mark 4:31.

To God’s co-laborer,

God was faced with what you and I would call a dilemma. For Him it was no difficulty at all, though from the beginning, He knew it would cost Him the life of His Son. He finalized His plans before the world was ever set into motion, and the stage was set.

God wanted man to share all He had. He is love, and love, by definition, meant that man had to be given the power of choice. He gave all authority on earth to man (Adam), who in turn, chose

to disobey. By his own volition of will mankind became degenerate, falling into the slavery of the enemy and of their own flesh. God re-entered the earth as a man (the second Adam). He laid aside His own right to operate independently as God because authority could only be legally won back through a man. He was filled with the same Holy Spirit that He would one day send to you and to me. Jesus legally overcame satan's power, resisting sin, even to the shedding of His own blood. He died, rose again, returned to heaven and sent His Holy Spirit. Due to Christ’s victory, man can now be born again and filled with the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. God works through man, by His Spirit, to legally give birth to His dreams on the earth. Man co-labors with God to establish God's Kingdom on the earth. Through this union, others might be born and matured into God’s family.

All that God gives birth to, starts as a tiny seed. His vision “seed” is His Word. It is incorruptible (1 Peter 1:23). That Word must go through a process of implantation, gestation, labor, birth and development before it finally reveals purpose. The smallest mustard seed grows into a giant tree and becomes a shelter of refuge for others. What was once dead in the ground brings life. Every seed has the entire vision within it. If kept in the proper environment long enough, it is pre-programmed to develop into everything that God planned for it to be.

Every birth is a miracle. The impossible becomes possible and tangible when men or women walk in intimacy with God. Birthing vision comes from an abiding relationship with Him. This relationship reveals His will. Through your constant contact with Him you can carry out His desire with accuracy. As you obey, you release His creative power to bring forth life. As you and He work together in this way, the dreams of your heart (which began in His) come into existence.

Until God graces me to share again,

Randall Paul Pipes
