Becoming All You Were Meant To Be

Q - What makes this book different from other spiritual or “self-help” books on the market?

A - True purpose is not something that you figure out, but rather something that is revealed to you by your Designer. This book is about connecting with Him as opposed to guessing what to do with your life. God wants you to succeed more than you do. And the truth is that He is the only One who knows what success means for your life. He designed you and returning to His intentions will give you a focused life that is efficient, effective and fulfilled! In order to truly live, you must live purposefully, and that is what this book is all about."Becoming All You Were Meant To Be" shares plenty of things to "do," but it focuses more on "being" a person who's life flows from real, authentic and intimate relationship with your Creator. From this outflow you can have a successful life and become a tremendous influence in the lives of other people. This book is meant to lead you to the truth of the Bible. It will focus your attention on the Person of God, and on Biblical truths that have the power to change your life. It is Biblical, yet "non-religious," designed to lift burdens off you, not to load you down with condemnation and man-made rules that you cannot follow.

Q - How is this book different from other books on purpose?

A - There are a lot of books and resources on purpose and many of them will actually lead you further from your true purpose! This is what makes “Becoming All You Were Meant To Be” stand out:1. It’s design-based. If you want to understand the purpose of something you must trace it back to its origin. This is the only way you will understand the reason why it's here. It does no good to be focused and intentional if your goals are not in line with the Designer's purpose for placing you here in the first place!2. It’s based upon the Designer's Word. I believe that God knows the conditions under which His creation will be ultimately successful and that He is the only One qualified to establish the rules for His creation. 3. It reveals both God’s overall purpose for mankind, and principles for understanding your own unique place in His plan. God fashioned you, not as an individual unit, but as a part of a larger design and plan and the more you understand your place in the plan, the more successful and fulfilled you will be!4. The book is designed on a model that prioritizes relationship above organization. Its goal is to connect you with your Designer rather than giving you an inflexible set of rules to follow. 5. It gives a practical plan to walk out what you are learning. It’s not so “heavenly minded" that it’s "no earthly good." It will lead you both into an organized and spontaneous relationship with the Designer and teach you a balance between faith and works. When it's all said and done, you’ll have a model that you can practically apply to your everyday life!

General resource questions

Q - When I tried to access the devotional section, I was asked for a password. What is my password?

A - As you browse through the pages of my free resource center you may be asked to re-enter your username and password from time to time. Your username and password for the free resource center and all that is in it (devotionals, newsletters, podcasts, other free resources, announcments, social network, help desk, etc.) all use the same username and password that you created at registration. I recommend that when you log in you check the little box that asks if you want your login information to be remembered. This way all you will have to do it click "OK" whenever this information is required.

Please note that if you sign-up for any of my paid subscriptions in the "Bundled Subscriptions" section, that each subscription does require its own username. You may however use the same password if this is more convenient for you.

Q - Many of your resources were copyrighted quite a few years ago. Why are they just now being released?

A - I wanted to have integrity with both the creation and the publication of my resources. I had a strong leading each time I wrote or recorded a new resource. However, every time I’d ask the Lord about publication and distribution, He seemed to be saying to “wait.” To be honest, at times this was very frustrating to me but I wanted to be obedient. So I kept using these tools in my pastoral practice, but never released them beyond the local community. It has only been recently, with the creation of my business Life Development Services that I have had a clear understanding as to how He wants me to release these materials.

Q -If you are a pastor, then why are you selling your services and resources through a business?

A - As mentioned above, I never had a “green light” in terms of the distribution of the resources that I had been developing over the years (and it wasn’t because I wasn’t asking). Several years ago, I began receiving strong prophetic words from various people that I trust about going into business. At first this didn’t seem in line with my understanding of the direction that I was supposed to be heading with my life, but I tried to remain open. Over time, the Lord made it abundantly clear what His will was for me. He said that He wanted me to take my message beyond the boundaries of the local church into a marketplace environment. He made it clear that He would give me impact in this arena. In addition, He revealed that it was time to become proactive in terms of generating the finance to staff and facilitate the full vision that He has entrusted to me for my local community.
